Details: We are selling our 2002 Kia Spectra. My parents brought this for me in 2003. It runs fine. It is super good on gas, being a 4 cylinder drive.The only problem it has that we are aware of is that the oil pan needs to be changed. I had the transmission changed around 2009 and the car has been fine. I drive this to work everyday.The oil pan will cost about $200-300 to fix at the KIA dealer. We take this car to the dealer for service.I am sure you can probably fix it for less at a mechanic shop.We had tinted windows put in on the back, the steoreo system was update a few years ago, the stereo even has a remote for the backseaters. It plays mp3 cds. The stereo face is removable for security purposes.We had an automatic starter and alarm system put in. Details: I´m trying to sell my 2003 kia spectra. It´s a 5 speed(stick shift) 1.8L DOHC. It just hit 90,000 miles so the engine is in really good shape. I did oil changes every 2,000 miles and replaced the spark plugs. Brand new front tires. Everything works except for the power steering, but thats not really a problem. Car has a little bit of rust under the car and two little spots visible. Windshield is cracked, but I got quoted for $120 dollar fix. Has a couple dents but the car runs great. Passenger door handle comes off, but still works to open door.
